Good Morning 6 Brotherton class!
Wishing you all a very
Happy New Year. I hope you are all well and had a lovely, restful break.
Here is your literacy
lesson for today.
If you have some paper
and a pencil at home, please write the answers to your questions in full
sentences - this is great practice for you. Remember your capital letters,
finger spaces and full stops. Use your phonics to segment any words you are
unsure of how to spell - try your best! Read your sentences back to yourself or
somebody at home to check that they make sense.
The text we are
focusing on is Stuart Little - I'm sure lots of you may have seen the film!
I would like you to
read up to page 3 - 'said the doctor cheerfully, as he
left'

Please take a look at
the slides for todays lesson below:
There is a usual
vocabulary slide (slide 4) that you may want to look at first for any tricky
words to help you understand what you are reading.

comment on this post or I am available at the year 6 email address, which

Take care,
Miss Freeman
