Virtual tour of our Year 6 classrooms!

Welcome to Year 6! Here's a virtual tour of our lovely Year 5 and 6 building, so you can see which classroom your child is based in. Your child's happiness and safety are our main concerns. As you can see, we have sanitising stations around the building and all of the children’s tables are facing forwards to keep them as safe as possible. 

 

Walking home

 In Years 5 and 6, your child is allowed to walk home. You should have received a letter to sign. Please ask your child to collect another letter if you didn’t get one and would like to give them permission to walk.

Outdoor areas at school

Year 6 are so lucky to have so many fantastic outdoor areas to enjoy, play and learn in,  including the MUGA (multi-use games area), the trim trails, the running track and the forest area:

Dear Parents/Carers,

I want to take this opportunity to welcome you back to a new school year at Hovingham! 

Your child is starting their final year of primary school and we are here to make it as special and successful as possible! Obviously, your child's safety is a huge priority for us and I want to take this opportunity to reassure you that we are taking every possible precaution to protect your child. You will see in the virtual tour videos that there are lots of sanitising stations and all the desks are facing forwards.
