Here are the answers for literacy:

Retrieval questions

1. newt/flute, carp/harp, plaice/bass, bass/brass, chub/tub, ling/strings.

2. The snails can wail.

3. What more is you lookin' for? Guess who's gon' be on the plate? What do they got?

4. Fish in a bowl could end up on a plate when their boss gets hungry.

5. It's not very pleasant on the shore and in the sun because they work all day on the shore and they slave away in the sun.

Inference questions

1. The seaweed is always greener in someone's else's lake means the same as the grass is greener on the other side. This means someone is not happy with their own life and think that there are better things in other places, like someone else's lake.

2. I think all the fish like to play music because the fish are playing traditionally orchestral instruments like flutes, strings, harps etc.

3. 'Off the hook' means that you get away with doing something. This is funny because the fish are getting away with not being caught by the fisherman's hook and can live in peace without fear of being caught.
