Hi Parkinson
I hope you are all well. As promised, along with your workpack, I will also upload 'lessons' to the blog for you to complete each day. These will follow a similar structure to the lessons that we do each day when we are all in school together.
Today you have a reading lesson. You will be completing several sets of questions: blue questions are straightforward retrieval; amber are slightly trickier and focus on the meaning/choice of vocabulary; red are the most complex and will require you to use your inference skills to answer them.
The main focus of your reading lessons over the next few days will be to compare two texts and the way that the author represents people/characters within them. Today's texts feature two professional footballers: Diego Maradona and Mia Hamm. The texts are featured within the presentation, so you do not need any other resources - just follow the link below:
